Job Title Re-Train as High Net Worth Weath Advisor
Our Reference J657
Employment Term Permanent
Location South East
Salary £Negotiable
Job Category Financial Services
After significant success with the previous programmes our client, a well respected wealth management company offering services to the high net worth community, is launching their third Back to Work Returners programme.

The initiative aims to identify and attract a set of more experienced Advisors with no direct personal finance advisory experience but from a solid and fairly senior professional background who would be fast-track trained to become Wealth Advisors. The training programme has been designed as a clearly structured 20–22 week plan, aiming to bring the new Advisors to Training & Competence ‘Part 1 sign-off’ (ie. be able to meet and give advice to clients unsupervised) in approximately 12 months. Once qualified advisors will then be able to work on a flexible basis from London offices with opportunities to work from home. There may be opportunities for work from their Bracknell Office too.

This is a fantastic opportunity for high calibre professional individuals who are looking to find a career that will be professionally stimulating and that will enable flexibility with family life. The company is extremely forward thinking in its approach to recruiting high calibre talent and is changing the industry by moving away from a sales and “product” emphasis to a focus on the level of service and advice that it provides to its clients.

Candidate Profile:

Successful candidates will be highly professional graduates who were high achievers in their previous professions. Experience communicating at a senior executive/board level is essential as is a high level of financial competency given the nature of the services provided.

Skills:
• Previous business experience, preferably in a related profession.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Excellent inter-personal skills.
• Good, clear presentation skills.

Attitude:
• Well-organised, self-disciplined and professional.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly planning and preparation skills relevant to client meetings and reports.
• Articulate: able to explain complex ideas in a straight-forward way.
• Trustworthy: able to gain respect and trust of client.
• Good listening skills/perceptive as to client’s needs and best approach.
• Ability to develop and nurture long-term client relationships.
• Operates consistently with highest level of integrity.
• Motivated to succeed rapidly at a personal and corporate level.
• Comfortable with senior businessmen/women and professional contacts – mature in attitude.
• Team player.
• Possessing good general business acumen.
• Performance driven: responsive to goal-oriented assessment.
• Willing to learn new field at in-depth practical and technical level.

The initial training course will run for three days per week, throughout the 22 week training programme approximately 20 days will be spent in the London office for training purposes and revision seminars, and more days in the office may well be added from discussions with the management team to attend team meetings etc. The rest of the training period will involve home-based study.

The commitment for the job will be 3 days, with the flexibility to run own diary and schedule own work load.

Salary:
Initial salary of 35K (pro rated) to be paid during training and qualification phase with annual increases once fully qualified and operating as an advisor. Ultimate earning potential and career progression opportunities will be aligned to any leading professional services organisation, with a strategy to put higher base salaries in place to emphasize this shift away from “selling” and commission based service.

Flexibility: 3 days per week (must be able to work during school holidays).

This is a very popular course, please only apply if you are able to fit within the commitments and locations above.
